Ordering & Shipping

Do you offer free shipping across the US?

Yes. We offer free standard shipping on all orders to the contiguous United States. Most orders are dispatched within 1-2 business days and arrive within 2-5 business days. For Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories, delivery may take 4-14 business days - see our Shipping & Delivery Policy for details.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship within the United States only. If you are interested in international shipping, contact us at info@luhenka.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Choosing a Loom

What loom sizes are available and how do I choose the right one?

Luhenka looms come in three sizes: Small (24 pegs, 38"), Medium (32 pegs, 48"), and Large (40 pegs, 60"). Small is great for lap blankets and first projects, Medium is our most popular all-purpose size, and Large is built for full-size bed blankets. Visit our loom size guide for a detailed breakdown.

Do I need any experience to use the loom?

No experience required. Loom knitting has no needles to master and no complicated stitches to memorize - just a simple wrap-and-loop technique. Most people finish their first project in a single weekend. See our first weekend blanket guide to get started.

What yarn should I use?

Any jumbo or super-bulky weight yarn works well - chenille, wool roving, and cotton tube yarn are the most popular choices. Each has a different feel and look; our yarn guide breaks down the differences.

Using Your Loom

How do the numbered pegs work?

Every peg is engraved with its own number, with a blue marker peg at every fifth position. This makes it easy to follow a pattern and keep track of your row, even if you put the project down for a few days.

Can I make my loom wider later?

Yes. Every Luhenka rail has a secure pin-lock connection, so you can link two rails together to knit something wider than your original loom's peg count allows.

My first few rows came out uneven - is that normal?

Completely normal. Most people's tension improves noticeably after the first few rows as their hands adjust to the motion. Our beginner mistakes guide covers the most common early habits and how to fix them.

Returns & Care

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy. Contact our team within 30 days of receiving your loom to start a return. Items must be returned in their original condition with all components (pegs, base, and accessories). See our Refund & Returns Policy for full details.

How do I care for my finished blanket?

Care depends on the yarn you used. Cotton and most chenille yarns handle a gentle machine wash and low-heat dry, while wool roving does best hand washed in cold water and laid flat to dry to avoid felting. Avoiding high heat is the safest general rule for any chunky knit piece.

How do I keep the loom itself in good condition?

Brush any yarn fluff away from the peg holes between projects to keep tension consistent, and store the loom somewhere dry. The solid beechwood base is built to last for many projects with minimal care.
